OUR MISSION
Red Fox Survival’s mission is to equip and empower people with reliable safety gear, first aid kits, and tactical equipment—but it goes far deeper than products. We are driven by a personal commitment to protect lives, inspired by years of first-hand experience in dangerous situations where preparation meant everything.
We believe that every person deserves the confidence of being prepared, whether they are walking alone at night, hiking in the mountains, or working in high-risk environments. Our goal is to give people the tools and knowledge to stay safe, respond to emergencies, and look after themselves and others.
At the heart of our mission is the belief that preparedness builds strength. When people feel equipped, they feel capable. When they feel capable, they feel safe. And when they feel safe, they move through the world with confidence and purpose. Red Fox Survival exists to make that possible.
OUR HISTORY
Red Fox Survival Pty. Ltd was built in 2025 from a dream—one shaped by years of hands-on experience, long nights of study, and a shared passion for protecting others.
Red Fox Survival was born from a simple but urgent reality: personal safety and preparedness save lives.
In a world where emergencies, crime, and unexpected situations are part of everyday life, we saw a growing need for practical, accessible survival and self-defence solutions that real people can actually use. Not extreme gear for professionals only—but reliable tools, clear guidance, and honest education for families, first responders, and everyday individuals.
What started as a passion for safety awareness and survival skills quickly evolved into a mission. Through hands-on experience, community engagement, and constant learning, Red Fox Survival grew into a platform that combines quality safety gear, first-aid essentials, and real-world survival knowledge.
We believe survival isn’t about fear—it’s about confidence, preparation, and empowerment. That belief drives everything we do, from the products we source to the safety posters, tips, and educational content we create.
Today, Red Fox Survival stands for readiness, resilience, and responsibility. We are proud to support individuals, communities, and first responders by equipping them with the tools and knowledge they need to protect themselves and others—when it matters most.

For Gert-Matthys, Red Fox Survival isn’t just a business—it’s the fulfilment of a lifelong dream. With a family history rooted in lifesaving, his passion for protecting people has always been part of who he is. Over the past 12 years, he has invested in extensive training, studies, examinations, and specialised qualifications to become the professional he is today.
Every step he has taken has been guided by one mission:
to save lives and equip people with the tools they need to stay safe in any scenario.
Red Fox Survival is Gert-Matthy’s way of turning that mission into reality. His dedication, discipline, and heart are the foundation on which this company stands

As Gert’s partner, Simone brings her own strength and lived experience to Red Fox Survival. After 9 years working in the service industry, she has seen and experienced first-hand the harsh realities that many women face—fear, danger, and moments where the right equipment or knowledge could change everything.
This experience sparked the creation of Red Fox Fierce:
a project dedicated to empowering women and children with safety awareness, practical street-smart skills, and the right defensive tools to protect themselves from predators.
Simone’s goal is to infiltrate schools, community groups, and public spaces, help teaching real-world tactics and building confidence through Street Smart Courses.
Her mission is empowerment—turning fear into knowledge and vulnerability into strength.
TACTICAL GEAR
Our tactical equipment is made from high-strength, military-grade nylon/polyester fabric designed for durability and performance. It’s tear-resistant, abrasion-resistant, and weather-resistant, ensuring long-lasting reliability. The material stays strong under pressure while remaining breathable and comfortable for extended wear.
